- The maximum monthly
food stamp benefit in 2004 for a family of four

The Big Easy Rollergirls have selected the Humane Society of Louisiana as the local organization to support
for our first bout of the 2008-2009 season.
We'll be taking donations on behalf of the Humane Society of Louisiana at the bout at the
HPC on October 11. Bring an item from their wishlist and get a coupon for 10% off Big Easy Rollergirls merch!
Established in 1988, the Humane Society of Louisiana leads the fight against cruelty to animals statewide. It's not widely known that most Louisiana parishes and towns lack even the most basic services for lost, injured, homeless and forsaken companion animals.
The Humane Society of Louisiana has given voice to forgotten animals at 100 substandard pounds, winning hard fought battles against cruelty, which continue to touch the lives of countless thousands of animals each year.
